Do I need a utility line too?
No. GridVault systems are designed to operate fully independent of the utility grid — no connection required.
How do I get power out of it?
The same way you'd connect a camper or a home generator: plug in directly. For whole-home power, any licensed electrician can wire GridVault into your panel using the same process they'd use to connect utility power. Prefer we handle the integration? We can for an additional fee.
Do you install on land without existing structures?
Yes — GridVault is designed for undeveloped land as well as existing properties.
How long does installation take?
Your system is built and delivered in 4–6 weeks from signing — versus months to over a year for a new utility line extension. On-site installation takes sixty minutes or less.
Who handles permits and inspections?
Permits varies by county, so you'll work with your local jurisdiction directly. Your consultation team can help you understand what to ask about for your property.
What keeps the batteries charged?
Every GridVault includes 2,400W of solar input that functions as a trickle charge for your batteries. Most of our customers charge their GridVault with a ground-mount solar array, available as an add-on; a generator works too. The system can handle up to 80,000 watts of continuous solar input, so your charging capacity grows with you.
Can I charge my EV?
The GridVault 320 is sized to handle EV charging. Talk to our consultation team about matching a system to your full load — HVAC, pumps, appliances, and vehicles.
What's included, and what's the warranty?
Off-site commissioning, white-glove delivery, and first-year support are included with every system. Your EcoFlow Ocean Pro components also carry a 15-year manufacturer warranty.
Can I upgrade or add solar later?
Solar input capacity is built in from day one, with ground-mount solar available as an optional upgrade. Talk to our consultation team about upgrade paths between tiers as your needs grow.
